From the first flight of K5054 on 5th
March 1936, to the last Mk24 in 1954, The Supermarine Spitfire captures
the nostalgia of an era defined by conflict. This site will provide
data for the enthusiast and show why the Spitfire has fascinated many
for over 60 years.
You will find data on most of the major
marks of the aircraft. The changes made to it as it developed, and
its heritage from the S series of race planes, to its legacy in the
form of the Spiteful and Seafang.

I would Like to
take this opportunity to congratulate Wing Commander John Eely
Partridge on his 90th Birthday this year. John Flew with 83 squadron
during WW2.
I am constantly searching
for new images of the Spitfire. If you have any images you wish to
allow me to use on this site, please mail the to me at the above address,
I will be happy to state the source and add an aviation related web
